Established in 1923, Central Florida Zoological Park is a resource center a variety of wildlife. It offers shaded, winding boardwalks and paths, and a range of wildlife, such as elephants, cheetahs, mandrills, kookaburra, venomous reptiles and nonvenomous snakes, lizards and frogs, Puerto Rican crested toads, Amur leopards, venomous king cobra and hyacinth macaws. The two-toed sloth is mainly nocturnal, sleeping up to 20 hours every day. Sloths are extremely adapted to their "slow" and arboreal lifestyle, spending almost their entire life upside-down in the trees.
